- Do you need a realtor in a new construction sale? YES! You still need a real estate agent that represents you. You need an agent who’s competent and can both save you time and money.
- Remember onsite agents do not have your best interest in mind. They’re working for the builder and they’re representing the builder’s interests, not yours.
- The design center and upgrades are a huge money maker for builders. And believe it or not, you can do many of these upgrades yourself for a fraction of the cost after closing.
- Remember, contracts are not always simple and straight forward. Be sure you’re working with an agent to help you read through the contract and know what you’re signing.
